cGMP certification refers to the certification process that ensures a manufacturing facility operates in compliance with the Current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) regulations enforced by regulatory bodies, such as the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA).  These practices are designed to ensure that products are manufactured to specific quality standards regarding identity, strength, quality, and purity. cGMP certification involves rigorous facility inspections, detailed documentation of manufacturing processes, and quality control procedures to prevent contamination, mix-ups, and errors. Moreover, cGMP compliance is often a prerequisite for entering and remaining competitive in regulated markets.
